Brielse Maasdijk

The Brielse Maasdijk wind farm is an initiative of HVC, Voorne-Putten Energie and the municipality of Nissewaard. However, a wind farm is a drastic process to realize, visualizing it helps them. The municipality of Nissewaard therefore considers it important that residents and other stakeholders are informed as early as possible. This then concerns the development plans for the Brielse Maasdijk wind farm. In addition, the municipality is interested in the opinion and advice of those involved about the wind project.

How many wind turbines will be built on the Brielse Maasdijk and where exactly they will be placed is still unknown. This is being investigated in an EIA procedure in which residents and other stakeholders are also intensively involved.

In order to provide the residents and other stakeholders with the clearest possible picture of the possible visual impact of the various wind farm setups, HVC asked us to visualize the various positions from several points of view. The visualizations were created using our Windplanner application.

By means of visualizing the changes, the inhabitants can and other stakeholders make a better choice about which scenario best fits the environment. Globe photos were even taken in residents' backyards and on top of the Lelieflat to show the possible visual impact from these perspectives as well.
