Port-City of Amsterdam
Port-City of Amsterdam is currently the largest inner-city area development in the Netherlands. Construction will take place on both sides of the IJ in the coming years.
For the Port-City of Amsterdam, work is underway for no fewer than 40.000 to 70.000 affordable homes and 45.000 to 58.000 jobs. Schools, parks and sports fields are all nearby. In addition, Port-City of Amsterdam will also become sustainable. The urban structure is described in the integral Framework. The Framework is used as a direction document to assess future developments, so that they are guided in the right direction over the next 35 years.
For this major project, The Imagineers has set up a platform where citizen participation is facilitated. This on the basis of a survey module that is held within this platform, and the possibility to ask questions on the map. The changes are also visualized here from 17 different photo locations.
