By Keijzer Communications we have been asked to develop a new Online Visitor Center to replace the current platform, because the project is entering the realization phase. In this case, the dike reinforcement concerns the Lauwersmeerdijk in Groningen. The realization phase also requires a new and modern design for the Online Visitor Center. This dike reinforcement must become one of the most sustainable in the world, which has also become a central theme on the platform.

The aim of the renewed Online Visitor Center is to allow you to experience the dike reinforcement as if you were there yourself, so the emphasis is mainly on the experience and the attractive images and not on the technical background. The result is a modernly designed virtual visitor center in which the story surrounding the dike reinforcement is simply explained. In this case it concerns two separate rooms that connect seamlessly and both tell part of the theme.

For environmental communication we have used an integration with the Build App. Thanks to this link, the visitor center is always provided with the latest news about work and possible nuisance.

Curious about the end result? View the Online Visitor Center Lauwersmeerdijk here.
