We visualize the possible future environmental changes of the RijnlandRoute for those involved in the project.

Building a new road requires good local communication with everyone involved. The clearer the plans are explained, the fewer questions there will be. And the questions that remain go much deeper. Talking from the same starting point is essential for the smooth running of a project like this.

That is why we have developed an interactive application on behalf of the RijnlandRoute that already shows the future road in detail. In the very first phase of the project, we used serious gaming. This shows in a simulated environment what the project can look like. When the plans became more concrete, we incorporated the plans into the bolfoto platform. As a result, the plan can be seen in a realistic environment and it ensures good environmental communication.

Because the Holland Rijnland region has to deal with traffic congestion, it was decided to build a new road. This road runs from Katwijk, via the A4 to the A44 near Leiden. Beautiful around the Green Heart.

With the help of serious gaming, we have given those involved and interested parties the opportunity to see exactly what the road will look like. From the air, but also from the car. This has removed many ambiguities for stakeholders in this project in a pleasant and accessible way.
